Starvation Ridge- The 24 Hour Race

Hosted by Over The Bars Gang, the Starvation Ridge 24 Hour Race is an endurance competition that involves both teams and single riders in different classes riding the course for a full 24 hours. Being in the fall, riders face challenging weather and less daylight and ever-changing course conditions. 

This year, we had some very special competitors representing Off Road Vixens during this insane challenge. 

First, our Sponsored Athlete, Sarah Forney teamed up with 5 other badass ladies to compete in the Women's Expert Class and took home 1st Place as a team. 

Second, competing solo was Emilie Moreshead, a loved member of the Off Road Vixens Family. She decided to compete in the Ironwoman on a bit of a whim and took home 1st place as well as setting a new course record! 328 miles of bone-jarring desert as she put it. 

These Ladies took on an incredible, tedious challenge. Running on pure adrenaline, practically no sleep, and a lot of will power they overcame and showed up.
