Vixen Spotlight- Tazmin Creel
Tazmin Creel:
About:
- From Nampa, ID
- 26 Years Old
- "When I was about 9 years old my step-dad came into my life. He taught me how to fish, hunt, and ride a dirtbike. This was no easy feat, and looking back I admire his patience. I wrecked a lot, I cried a lot, and I tried to give up a lot. It was ugly, but he never gave up on me."
- "I learned that I can accomplish anything I set my mind on; like running a half marathon or learning to snowmobile for the first time at the age of 24."
Experience:
Tazmin has been riding Dirt Bikes since she was 10. She started riding snowmobile when she was 24 years old.
Sponsors:
- Bucks 4x4
- Off-Road Vixens
Goals:
Tazmin's goals include improving herself, she is in a competition with herself. She also hopes to stay in these sports for a long time.
Achievements:
- Last year I made the jump from a 230F to a 250F. This was a difficult decision for me because I loved my 230 and felt very comfortable on it. After a bit of adjustment, I have come to love my 250 and I'm so glad I finally worked up the courage to get out of my comfort zone.
Words of Wisdom:
"You will miss 100% of the shots you don't take. Don't let fear of failing keep you from trying."
Side Note:
"Participating in male-dominated sports such as dirtbiking and snowmobiling has been challenging, but it has given me confidence that has translated into success in other areas on my life, including my career as a Probation and Parole Officer."
