What sport/s do you participate in?

Motocross
No photo description available.

What do you ride/drive for your sport?!

2022 KX250

How long have you been competing in your sport? What got you into it?!

I’ve been racing motocross for 23 years. My dad got my sister and I started on PW50s when we were little for something to do on the weekends!

As a female in this industry, what are some challenges you face?

Having a smaller frame and less muscle mass makes racing dirt bikes much more difficult than it is for men. I work out consistently, stay focused on my nutrition and have to work really hard to have good bike control which translates into safer riding!

What are some of your other Hobbies?!

I also love to ride MTB, BMX, street bikes, I'm super into fitness, I’m an avid reader, and I like to knit and sew.

How were you introduced to Off Road Vixens?

Through social media and seeing ORV apparel out at the tracks!

What are your Short Term and Long Term Goals?

Short term goals would be to win a championship this year. Long term - just to stay healthy, keep getting faster and HAVE FUN!

What are some of your accomplishments?

I have won several overall championships in the past at the state level as well as through the AMA. I’ve competed in many Qualifiers and regional events for the Loretta Lynn’s amateur national, I’ve raced in many different states and helped influence a lot of girls to get into riding!

What is your favorite thing about competing in your sport?

I love the sense of accomplishment that racing gives me. It is truly a sport that depends solely on you - you determine the work you put in which is reflected in the results you achieve.

Where do you see yourself in this industry in 5 years?

I see myself still riding and racing as much as my heart desires! I would also love to become a bigger part of helping women learn to ride and empowering women in general.

What words of advice do you have for other women and girls getting involved in racing?

Make sure you learn good form and technique from the start - this will allow you to to build speed safely and result in less injuries over time. Also, learn how to do general maintenance to your own motorcycle. You understand the bike more when you know how it runs!

What is something that we don't know about you?

I have a gypsy soul - I’ve moved around a lot from the time I graduated high school and I’m always ready for the next adventure!
